    Hi! My coworker are totally excited about the bikini body bootcamp you posted (she’s going to do it now, and I’m going to do it to help me drop baby weight in a few months!). We have a question, though – what’s a “double crunch”?

    • Oh wow this is so cool, thank you so much for the comment! Ok so a double crunch is a basic crunch done at the same time as a reverse crunch. So start with your hands behind your head, contract your abs, bring your feet up on the floor with your knees over the top of your hips. Crunch and bring your shoulders up off the floor at the same time you do a reverse crunch.

  5. Hi,
    I just came across your article on High Intensity Interval Training, its a great article. I am a new graduate student at UW and am thinking of taking the HIIT class this quarter. I am a fairly athletic and fit person, I use to be more of a runner and got into triathlons a bit, but most recently I got into more strength training based classes (with some TRX, Kettlebell, squats, burpees, etc). I am new to Seattle and trying to find a similar workout, the UW HIIT classes sound great to me, but I wanted to get a sense of how intense the classes are before I get in over my head…

    Are you still a student at UW by the way? Do you teach any of the fitness classes?

  6. Hello. I just found this and OMG…it’s what I have been searching for, thank you!! I cannot wait to get started but I have a question. How do you organize your week? How do you plan what you are going to do? I’m not necessarily new but I used to have a trainer and sadly, I moved…so I am on my own at a new gym. Still trying to learn where everything is. I just seem to be all over the place in terms of what to do each day, I don’t feel like i have a good flow going, does that make sense? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

  7. Any chanc of getting a description of what certain exercises are? Like burpees! What are those? Flying lunes? Thee are a couple mor, but if you had a definitions list somewhere, it would be a help.

  8. Hi Caitlin, I just found you via Pinterest, and I did the Tabata strength workout…. WOW! I consider myself a super-fit person. My workouts are usually rotations of P90X, TurboFire, and Insanity (I always go crawling back to Sean T, love him), but once or twice a week I like to mix things up with something equally sweat-inducing, but different, and this was it! I can’t wait to check out more of your workouts…. but I need to give myself a day to recover from this great soreness!

  9. Ok, I need so much help! I have moved all of your printable workouts to my desktop and have studied them and they all look so amazing and beneficial and fun and interesting and… overwhelming! I don’t even know where to start! I want to start working out on a daily basis, get into a real routine, and get into better shape but like I said, I am quite confused… Is there any way possible that you could help me plan out a routine? Maybe help me figure out what to do on what days so that they will complement each other and I will get the most benefit from my workout? Thank you so much! :)

  11. Hello! I just wanted to say thank you for all of the wonderful printable workouts. I don’t even remember how I came across your blog a few months back but I have been using your workouts and sharing them with friends for a while now. I’ve done the Tabata and Fat Burning Circuits numerous times, and sampled several others, but those two are my favorites. It’s great to throw them into my week to change things up a bit. Keep it up!

  12. I like to workout out because it helps me lost of weight when I am running. I have a trail in the back so go for a run very moring and the afternoon and the evening in in fields so it doesn’t get dark out side. I Burn lost of fat of on my body and it helps me maintain my heathy motivation in the shape of my body so that I can do lots of exercising in my house.

  14. Hii – I just need to tell you how much i absolutely love your printable workouts!! I stumbled across them on pinterest and now regularly visit your site to check for new additions. I haven’t found anyone else doing a full length high intensity workout that you can print and bring with you – it’s simply genius. Anyway – thank you for some seriously awesome workouts lately!

  16. Yesterday I went cycling with my family and I totally forgot to stretch after we finished. Today I really wanted to do exercise and as soon as I started working out I hurt my knee… How can I do exercise without making too much effort on my knees? And how can I stretch my knees?… Thanks a lot, I love your blog!

    I need to loose weight, if i do your tabata training 3 times a week its possible to loose weight?
    I just can training on monday, tuesday and wednesday, its wrong training so many days without a rest?
